“บุญหลัง ส่งตายาย” รองเลขาธิการ กอ.รมน.ภาค 4 ส่วนหน้า เป็นประธานในพิธีทำบุญวันสารทเดือนสิบ สืบสานวิถีกตัญญู  ณ  วัดมุจลินทวาปีวิหาร (วัดตุยง) จ.ปัตตานี

ถ้าจะพูดถึงความกตัญญู ความผูกพัน และรากเหง้าของลูกหลานชาวใต้ วันสารทเดือนสิบจะเป็นภาพสะท้อนถึงความกตัญญู และวัฒนธรรมที่ดีงาม ที่ถูกถ่ายทอดจากรุ่นสู่รุ่นได้อย่างชัดเจน

         วันนี้ (22 กันยายน 2568) เวลา 09.30 น. ที่ วัดมุจลินทวาปีวิหาร หรือวัดตุยง ตำบลตุยง อำเภอหนองจิก จังหวัดปัตตานี พันเอก อนุชา โนนคู่เขตโขง รองเลขาธิการ กองอำนวยการรักษาความมั่นคงภายในภาค 4 ส่วนหน้า เป็น ประธานฝ่ายฆราวาสในพิธีทำบุญวันสารทเดือนสิบ (วันส่งตายาย) เพื่อร่วมอนุรักษ์วัฒนธรรมประเพณีท้องถิ่นของพี่น้องประชาชนภาคใต้ของไทย ให้คงอยู่สืบไปในรุ่นลูกรุ่นหลาน โดยมี คณะผู้บังคับบัญชา ทหาร ตำรวจ ตลอดจนพี่น้องพุทธศาสนิกชนในพื้นที่เข้าร่วมในพิธีด้วยความอบอุ่น

          โดยพิธีทำบุญ วันสารทเดือนสิบ (วันส่งตายายหรือวันส่งเปรต) ประจำปี 2568 ของวัดมุจลินทวาปีวิหาร จัดขึ้นโดยความร่วมมือระหว่างสำนักงานพระพุทธศาสนาจังหวัดปัตตานี และคณะกรรมการวัด มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อให้พุทธศาสนิกชนและเยาวชนได้ซึมซับวิถีพุทธและความกตัญญูที่สืบทอดจากบรรพบุรุษ ภายในงานมีการประกวดหมรับ, ประเพณีแข่งขันขึ้นร้านเปรต รวมถึงการละเล่นพื้นบ้านการชกมวยตับจากการที่หาดูได้ยาก ถ่ายทอดบรรยากาศแห่งความสุขและวิถีชีวิตดั้งเดิมอย่างงดงาม

          นางผ่อง  ลายพรหม ชาวบ้านในพื้นที่ เปิดเผยความรู้สึกว่า “วันนี้เป็นอีกวันที่ดีใจมากที่ได้พาลูกหลานมาร่วมทำบุญ เพื่อระลึกถึงปู่ย่าตายายและบรรพบุรุษที่ล่วงลับไปแล้ว วันส่งเปรตถือเป็นกิจกรรมที่ทุกคนมีความสุข สนุก ได้พบปะพูดคุยกัน หลังจากที่ต้องแยกย้ายไปทำงานต่างถิ่น ที่สำคัญก่อนมาทำบุญที่วัด พี่น้องทุกคนจะต้องเตรียมขนมท้องถิ่นที่ใช้ในพิธี ไม่ว่าจะเป็นข้าวต้ม ขนมเจาะหู ขนมลา ขนมเบี้ย รวมถึงกับข้าวกับปลา เพื่อจะได้ร่วมทำบุญด้วยกัน และยังทำให้มีช่วงเวลาอยู่พร้อมหน้าพร้อมตา ช่วยกันเตรียมของและทำกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ร่วมกัน”

          เกล็ดเพิ่มเติม ตามปฏิทินสุริยคติ สารทเดือนสิบตรงกับเดือนกันยายน–ตุลาคมของทุกปี แบ่งเป็น 2 ช่วง คือ วันแรม 1 ค่ำ เดือนสิบ หรือ วันรับตายาย (วันรับเปรต) และ วันแรม 15 ค่ำ เดือนสิบ หรือ วันส่งตายาย (วันส่งเปรต)

“Bun Selap Tayah Tokeh” — Timbalan Setiausaha Agong ISOC Wilayah 4 telah jadi pengerusi dalam majlis kenduri arwah Hari Raya Bulan Sip, sempena jaga adat hormat orang tua, di Wat Mujalintawapi Wihan (Wat Tuyong), Negeri Pattani.

Bila sebut pasai hormat dan ingat jasa orang tua, Hari Raya Bulan Sip memang satu contoh yang jelas. Hari ni tunjuk budaya kita yang molek, yang diwarisi turun-temurun oleh anak cucu orang Selatan.

Hari ni (22 September 2025), pukul 9.30 pagi, di Wat Mujalintawapi Wihan atau lebih dikenali Wat Tuyong, Kampung Tuyong, Daerah Nong Chik, Negeri Pattani — Kolonel Anucha Nonkhoukhetkhong, Timbalan Setiausaha ISOC Wilayah 4, jadi pengerusi dalam majlis kenduri arwah (Hari Selap Tayah/Tok Ayah), dengan tujuan jaga dan hidupkan balik budaya orang Selatan. Ramai pegawai tentera, polis dan orang kampung Buddha mari sertai dengan suasana penuh mesra dan harmoni.

Majlis ini dianjur oleh Pejabat Agama Buddha Pattani dan jawatankuasa wat, supaya orang Buddha dan anak-anak muda boleh rasa dekat dengan ajaran Buddha dan nilai hormat orang tua. Dalam majlis ada pertandingan buat “Hamrap” (bakul makanan untuk roh), pertandingan bina “Kedai Pret” (kedai untuk hantu makan), dan sukan tradisional seperti “Muay Tab Jak” (tinju tradisional) yang jarang boleh tengok zaman sekarang – semua ni hidupkan suasana gembira dan budaya lama kita.

Mak Phoeng Laiphrom, orang kampung, kata:

“Hari ni saya rasa seronok sangat sebab boleh bawa anak cucu mari wat buat pahala, ingat arwah tok ayah tok wan. Hari Selap Pret ni semua orang kampung gembira, boleh jumpa kawan-kawan lama lepas lama dok jauh kerja. Sebelum mari wat, semua akan siap sedia makanan tradisi — bubur pulut, kuih jojoh su, kuih la, kuih be — serta lauk-pauk, untuk dikongsi sama-sama. Ni jugak masa nak duduk sama-sama, tolong-menolong buat persiapan, eratkan kasih sayang keluarga.”

Tambahan sikit — Ikut kalendar matahari, Hari Raya Bulan Sip jatuh bulan September ke Oktober tiap-tiap tahun. Ada dua hari penting:

Hari Rem 1 Kam (bulan sip) — Hari Terima Tayah (Hari ambik roh)

“Merit-Making for Ancestors” Ceremony Held to Uphold Gratitude Traditions

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Internal Security Operations Command Region 4 Front (ISOC Region 4 Front) presided over the Sart Duen Sib (Tenth Lunar Month Festival) merit-making ceremony at Wat Mujjalintawapi Wihan (Wat Tuyong) in Pattani Province, continuing the tradition of filial piety and remembrance of ancestors.

The Sart Duen Sib festival serves as a profound reflection of the Southern people’s deep-rooted values of gratitude, kinship, and ancestral reverence. It showcases the cultural heritage that has been passed down through generations with clarity and grace.

On September 22, 2025, at 9:30 AM, at Wat Mujjalintawapi Wihan (commonly known as Wat Tuyong), located in Tuyong Subdistrict, Nong Chik District, Pattani Province, Colonel Anucha Nonkhoukhetkhong, Deputy Secretary-General of ISOC Region 4 Front, presided over the laypeople’s merit-making ceremony for “Sending Off Ancestors”, part of the Sart Duen Sib tradition. This event aims to preserve and promote local cultural heritage among the people of Southern Thailand, ensuring its continuation for future generations. The ceremony was warmly attended by senior military officers, police, and local Buddhist residents.

The 2025 Sart Duen Sib ceremony at Wat Mujjalintawapi Wihan was organized in collaboration with the Pattani Provincial Office of Buddhism and the temple committee, with the goal of enabling both Buddhists and youth to internalize Buddhist ways of life and the virtue of filial piety passed down from their forebears. The event featured a traditional food offering basket contest (Hamrap), the building of Pret (spirit) booths, and rare traditional folk games, including Muay Tap Jak (palm-sheath boxing), all contributing to a vibrant atmosphere of joy and cultural appreciation.

Ms. Phong Laiphrom, a local resident, expressed her heartfelt feelings:

“Today is a very special day for me, as I was able to bring my children and grandchildren to make merit and honor our departed ancestors. The ‘Sending Off Ancestors’ day is a joyful occasion where everyone reconnects and enjoys each other’s company after being apart for work. What’s truly meaningful is the preparation beforehand—we all prepare traditional sweets and dishes, such as khao tom (sticky rice dessert), khanom jor-uh (ear-piercing-shaped snack), khanom la, khanom buea, and various local foods to offer together at the temple. It’s a time of unity, warmth, and shared responsibility.”

According to the solar calendar, Sart Duen Sib falls between September and October each year and is divided into two key days:

Wan Raap Tayaai (Receiving the Ancestors) — on the 1st Waning Moon Day of the 10th lunar month

Wan Song Tayaai (Sending Off the Ancestors) — on the 15th Waning Moon Day of the 10th lunar month
