ฉก.พัน.ร.ที่ 1 ร่วมสืบสานประเพณีท้องถิ่น “วันคล้ายวันก่อตั้งศาลเจ้าแม่ฮุดโจ้วถ้ำทะลุ” ส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมและความสันติสุขในชุมชน

          วันที่ 17 มีนาคม 2568 เวลา 10.00 น. พันโท ภานุพงศ์ ชนะวรรณโณ รองผู้บังคับหน่วยเฉพาะกิจกองพันทหารราบที่ 1 พร้อมด้วยกำลังพลของหน่วย ร่วมกับส่วนราชการและภาคส่วนต่าง ๆ รวมถึงพี่น้องประชาชนชาวไทยพุทธเชื้อสายจีนในพื้นที่ ร่วมประเพณีท้องถิ่นที่สำคัญ “วันคล้ายวันก่อตั้งศาลเจ้าแม่ฮุดโจ้วถ้ำทะลุ” หรือ “วันเกิด” ณ ศาลเจ้าแม่ฮุดโจ้วถ้ำทะลุ หมู่ที่ 1 ตำบลถ้ำทะลุ อำเภอบันนังสตา จังหวัดยะลา ซึ่งเป็นประเพณีที่มีความหมายลึกซึ้งต่อชุมชนและประชาชนในพื้นที่ที่ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นศูนย์กลางทางศาสนา แต่ยังเป็นที่ที่ผู้คนจากหลากหลายภาคส่วนมารวมตัวกันเพื่อสร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีต่อกัน

          การจัดงานในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อรักษาขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีและวัฒนธรรมอันดีงามที่เก่าแก่ สร้างความรัก ความสามัคคี ของคนในชุมชน โดยใช้หลักของความศรัทธาและความเชื่อ ตลอดจน เป็นการสร้างงานสร้างรายได้ ให้กับพี่น้องประชาชนในพื้นที่และใกล้เคียง ส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวของชุมชน นอกจากนี้ ยังเป็นการสร้างขวัญกำลังใจ ให้กับพี่น้องประชาชนส่วนราชการ และหน่วยงานต่างๆ กิจกรรมในงาน มีการแสดง ต่างๆ ของนักเรียน และชุมชนในพื้นที่ การร่วมสักการะเจ้าแม่ฮุดโจ้ว ภายในศาลเจ้า ฯ การจุดประทัด การแสดงเชิดสิงโต รวมทั้ง การร่วมรับประทานอาหารเจ ณ โรงเจศาลเจ้าแม่ฮุดโจ้ว ศาลเจ้าแม่ฮุดโจ้เป็นสถานที่ยึดเหนี่ยวจิตใจของชาวบ้านในพื้นที่มาเป็นเวลานาน และมีการจัดงานประเพณีขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทุกปี

          ตามประวัติ ที่เล่าสืบต่อกันมา เมื่อปีพุทธศักราช 2434 หรือ 134 ปีมาแล้ว อำมาตย์ตรีหลวงจีนคณานุรักษ์ได้อัญเชิญรูปปั้นองค์พระโพธิสัตย์เจ้าแม่กวนอิม เข้ามาประดิษฐานภายในถ้ำพระ หรือศาลเจ้า มีหลวงจีนและแม่ชีจีนประจำอยู่ที่ศาลเจ้า จนถึงปีพุทธศักราช 2536 แม่ชีจีนเสียชีวิตลงด้วยโรคชรา จึงไม่มีผู้ดูแลจัดการในเรื่องต่างๆ ภายในศาลเจ้า ด้วยความเลื่อมใสศรัทธา และความต้องการที่รักษาไว้ซึ่งศาสนสถานที่เก่าแก่คู่บ้าน ผู้นำท้องที่ ผู้นำท้องถิ่น และประชาชนในพื้นที่ จึงได้จัดตั้งคณะกรรมการขึ้น เพื่อร่วมกันดูแล โดยในช่วงเดือนสี่ของทุกๆ ปี ตำบลถ้ำทะลุ ได้จัดให้มีงานสมโภชองค์พระโพธิสัตย์เจ้าแม่กวนอิม มีการทำบุญ ไหว้พระ ขอพร และการถือศีลกินเจ การจัดมหรสพต่างๆ โดยเฉพาะหนังตะลุง จะต้องจัดให้มีการแสดงขึ้นทุกครั้ง โดยใช้งบประมาณที่ได้จากการเรี่ยไรและการร่วมทำบุญ ที่เกิดจากความเลื่อมใสศรัทธา ให้ความเคารพ นับถือ ในองค์พระโพธิสัตย์เจ้าแม่กวนอิม จากประชาชนในทุกพื้นที่ ตลอดระยะเวลา 134 ปี แห่งการก่อตั้งถ้ำพระ หรือศาลเจ้าแม่ฮุดโจ้ว แห่งนี้พี่น้องประชาชน ให้ความเคารพนับถือ มีความเลื่อมใสศรัทธา เป็นที่ยึดเหนี่ยวทางจิตใจมาโดยตลอด และเป็นศาสนสถาน ที่ควรค่าแห่งการอนุรักษ์ต่อไป

On March 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM, Lieutenant Colonel Phanupong Chana-wanno, Deputy Commander of the Special Task Unit of the 1st Infantry Battalion, together with the unit personnel, government agencies, and various sectors, including Thai-Chinese Buddhist citizens, participated in the important local tradition, “Commemoration of the Founding of the Phut Jow Hoot Chou Temple in Tham Thalu,” also known as “Birthday Celebration,” at the Phut Jow Hoot Chou Temple, Tham Thalu Subdistrict, Bannang Sata District, Yala Province. This tradition holds deep meaning for the local community, serving as not only a religious center but also a place where people from different sectors gather to build strong relationships.

The purpose of this event is to preserve the longstanding customs and cultural practices, foster love and unity in the community, based on faith and belief, as well as to create jobs and income for local citizens and those nearby, while promoting tourism in the community. Moreover, it serves to boost the morale of the local people, government sectors, and agencies. The activities in the event included performances by students and community members, prayers at the temple, firecrackers, lion dance performances, and the sharing of vegetarian food at the Hoot Chou Temple. The Phut Jow Hoot Chou Temple has been a spiritual anchor for the community for many years, and the tradition continues to be celebrated annually.

According to local history, it is said that in 1891 (B.E. 2434), 134 years ago, Phra Athibodi Luang Chin Kanaruk invited a statue of the Bodhisattva Guan Yin to be enshrined inside the Phra Cave or the temple. Monks and nuns resided at the temple until 1993 (B.E. 2536) when the nun passed away due to old age. With the dedication and desire to preserve this ancient religious site, local leaders and the community established a committee to manage the temple. Every year, during the fourth month, the Tham Thalu Subdistrict organizes a celebration for the Bodhisattva Guan Yin, including merit-making, prayers, vegetarian fasting, and cultural performances, especially the shadow play. The funds for this event come from donations and the shared faith of the people. For 134 years since the establishment of the Phra Cave, the Phut Jow Hoot Chou Temple has been a place of deep respect and faith, and it remains an important religious site deserving of preservation.
