แม่ทัพภาคที่ 4 ตรวจเยี่ยมการปฏิบัติงานของ หน่วยเฉพาะกิจกรมทหารราบที่ 5 พร้อมติดตามการดูแลตามแนวชายแดนไทย – มาเลเซีย

          วันนี้ (18 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568) เวลา 13.30 น. ที่ หน่วยเฉพาะกิจกรมทหารราบที่ 5 อำเภอสะเดา จังหวัดสงขลา พลโท ไพศาล  หนูสังข์ แม่ทัพภาคที่ 4 / ผู้อำนวยการรักษาความมั่นคงภายในภาคที่ 4 พร้อมคณะผู้บังคับบัญชา ลงพื้นที่ตรวจเยี่ยมเพื่อติดตามการดูแลแนวชายแดนไทย – มาเลเซีย โดยเฉพาะรั้วชายแดนป้องกันการลักลอบเข้าเมืองโดยผิดกฎหมาย ตลอดจนสิ่งผิดกฎหมายทุกชนิดเข้ามาในราชอาณาจักร โดยการบูรณาการร่วมกับทุกภาคส่วนเข้ามามีบทบาทสำคัญในการซีลชายแดนให้เกิดความเข้มข้นมากยิ่งขึ้น โดยมี พลตรี อภินันท์  แจ่มแจ้ง ผู้บัญชาการกองพลทหารราบที่ 5, พันเอก ทวีพร  คณะทอง ผู้บังคับการกรมทหารราบที่ 5 และกำลังพลของกองร้อยป้องกันชายแดน ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ

          ในโอกาสนี้ แม่ทัพภาคที่ 4 ได้รับฟังการชี้แจงถึงการปฎิบัติภารกิจของหน่วยเฉพาะกิจกรมทหารราบ 5 ในความรับผิดชอบตามแนวชายแดนไทย – มาเลเซีย ทางด้านของจังหวัดสตูลและจังหวัดสงขลา ซึ่งเป็นรอยต่อระหว่างกับรัฐเคดาห์และรัฐเปอร์ลิส ของประเทศมาเลเซีย โดยมีหลักเขตแดนที่ B/1 อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสตูล จนถึงหลักเขตแดนที่ 39 อำเภอสะบ้าย้อย จังหวัดสงขลา รวมถึงได้รับฟังการปฏิบัติงานของหน่วยเฉพาะกิจกรมทหารราบที่ 5 ในการจัดตั้งกองกำลังในการลาดตระเวนร่วมและ ลาดตระเวนผสมตามแนวชายแดน ในบริเวณพื้นที่ป่าเขา พร้อมกันนี้ ได้มีการจัดตั้งอาสาสมัคร กิจการพลเรือน เพื่อขับเคลื่อนงานด้านมวลชนสนับสนุนในการแก้ไขปัญหาในพื้นที่

          ด้าน แม่ทัพภาคที่ 4 ได้กล่าวว่า โดยการลงตรวจเยี่ยมในครั้งนี้ เพื่อเน้นย้ำการปฎิบัติภารกิจการควบคุมพื้นที่ตามแนวรั้วป้องกันชายแดนและการลักลอบเข้าเมืองโดยผิดกฎหมายและสิ่งผิดกฎหมายทุกชนิด โดยเน้นย้ำให้มีการบูรณาการกันกับทุกภาคส่วนในการซีนแนวชายแดน เพื่อให้เกิดความเข้มข้นมากยิ่งขึ้น และการปฏิบัติงานให้มีความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสองประเทศ รวมไปถึงติดตามความคืบหน้าของการสร้างถนนและประตูเชื่อมต่อด่านของประเทศไทยและประเทศมาเลเซียอีกดด้วย พร้อมกันนี้ ได้มอบสิ่งของอุปโภคบริโภคให้กับชุดปฏิบัติการดังกล่าว เพื่อเป็นขวัญและกำลังใจในการทำงานต่อไป พร้อมในการร่วมใจกันแก้ปัญหาในพื้นที่

 Panglima Tentera Ke-4 mengadakan lawatan ke Unit Tugas Khas Batalion Infantri 5 serta memantau pengawasan sempadan Thailand – Malaysia.

 Hari ini (18 Februari 2568) pada jam 13.30 di Unit Tugas Khas Batalion Infantri 5, Daerah Sadao, Wilayah Songkhla, Mejar Jeneral Phitsan Nuangsang, Panglima Tentera Ke-4 / Pengarah Keselamatan Dalam Negeri Tentera Ke-4 bersama rombongan telah membuat lawatan bagi memantau pengawasan sempadan Thailand – Malaysia, terutamanya pagar sempadan untuk mencegah kemasukan secara haram ke negara serta segala bentuk jenayah lain. Kerjasama dengan semua pihak memainkan peranan penting dalam meningkatkan ketegasan kawalan sempadan. Beliau diiringi oleh Brigadier Jeneral Apinan Jamjaeng, Komander Divisyen Infantri Ke-5, Kolonel Thawiporn Kanathong, Komander Batalion Infantri Ke-5 serta anggota dari Syarikat Pengawal Sempadan.

 Dalam kesempatan ini, Panglima Tentera Ke-4 mendengar taklimat mengenai pelaksanaan tugas Unit Tugas Khas Batalion Infantri 5 dalam menjaga sempadan Thailand – Malaysia di Wilayah Satun dan Wilayah Songkhla, yang merupakan sempadan antara Kedah dan Perlis di Malaysia. Sempadan tersebut bermula dari titik B/1 Daerah Muang, Wilayah Satun hingga ke titik sempadan 39 di Daerah Saba Yoi, Wilayah Songkhla. Beliau turut mendengar penerangan mengenai operasi Unit Tugas Khas dalam menubuhkan pasukan rondaan bersama dan rondaan campuran di sepanjang sempadan, termasuk kawasan hutan dan gunung. Selain itu, pasukan sukarelawan dalam aktiviti awam juga telah ditubuhkan untuk menyokong usaha menangani isu-isu di kawasan tersebut.

 Dalam ucapan beliau, Panglima Tentera Ke-4 menyatakan bahawa lawatan kali ini bertujuan untuk menekankan pelaksanaan tugas kawalan sempadan dan pencegahan kemasukan secara haram serta jenayah. Beliau menegaskan kepentingan kerjasama antara semua pihak dalam menguatkan kawalan sempadan dan memperkukuhkan hubungan antara kedua negara. Selain itu, beliau turut memantau kemajuan pembangunan jalan raya dan pintu sempadan yang menghubungkan Thailand dan Malaysia. Sebagai simbol sokongan, beliau telah menyampaikan barangan keperluan asas kepada pasukan yang bertugas untuk memberi semangat dan dorongan dalam menjalankan tugas mereka serta memperkukuhkan kerjasama dalam menyelesaikan masalah di kawasan tersebut.

 The Commander of the Fourth Army Area visits the operational activities of the 5th Infantry Regiment Special Task Unit and monitors the management of the Thailand-Malaysia border.

 Today (18th February 2025) at 13:30, at the 5th Infantry Regiment Special Task Unit in Sadao District, Songkhla Province, Major General Phitsan Nuangsang, Commander of the Fourth Army Area / Director of Internal Security Operations in the Fourth Army Area, along with his commanding officers, visited to monitor the management of the Thailand-Malaysia border, particularly focusing on the border fence to prevent illegal immigration and the smuggling of all types of illegal goods into the kingdom. This is done in close cooperation with all sectors to strengthen border control. They were welcomed by Brigadier General Apinan Jamjaeng, Commander of the 5th Infantry Division, Colonel Thawiporn Kanathong, Commander of the 5th Infantry Regiment, and the personnel of the Border Defense Company.

 During this visit, the Commander of the Fourth Army Area was briefed on the operational duties of the 5th Infantry Regiment Special Task Unit, which is responsible for the Thailand-Malaysia border in the Satun and Songkhla provinces, which are the boundary areas with the Malaysian states of Kedah and Perlis. The boundary stretches from boundary marker B/1 in Muang District, Satun Province, to boundary marker 39 in Saba Yoi District, Songkhla Province. The Commander also received an update on the unit’s operations, including the establishment of joint and mixed patrol forces along the border, particularly in mountainous forest areas. Additionally, a volunteer civil affairs unit has been established to drive community support efforts to address local issues.

 The Commander of the Fourth Army Area emphasized that the purpose of this visit was to highlight the importance of controlling the area along the border fence, preventing illegal immigration, and stopping all types of illegal goods from entering the country. He stressed the need for better integration among all sectors in reinforcing the border control efforts to make them more effective, while ensuring positive relations between the two countries. He also monitored the progress of the construction of roads and border checkpoints connecting Thailand and Malaysia. Additionally, he presented supplies to the operation team to boost morale and support them in their ongoing work, while strengthening collaborative efforts to resolve local issues.
