\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Pada 23 September 2025, Pejabat Pencegahan dan Pembanterasan Dadah (P.P.S.), diketuai oleh Cik Areepak Ngenbamrung, Timbalan Setiausaha Agung P.P.S., turun ke Pusat Satruchon, Daerah Nong Chik, Wilayah Pattani untuk meninjau perkembangan projek pemulihan bekas penagih dadah.<\/p>\n

Tujuan lawatan ini ialah memberi semangat dan dorongan kepada peserta, serta menekankan pendekatan \u201cubah insan\u201d supaya mereka boleh kembali ke pangkuan keluarga dan masyarakat dengan maruah. Projek ini dianjurkan oleh Pusat Kawalan Dadah Pattani, dengan sokongan bajet daripada Pusat Pentadbiran Wilayah Sempadan Selatan (SBPAC) serta kerjasama dari pelbagai agensi kerajaan seperti kesihatan, tentera, polis dan pentadbiran tempatan.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Pusat Satruchon kini dijadikan sebagai “Pusat Rehat Sementara (Community Isolation – CI)” untuk bekas penagih dadah yang mahu mulakan hidup baru. Program ini buka kepada peserta dari 12 daerah di Pattani, seramai 50 orang, dari 1 hingga 30 September 2025.<\/p>\n

Di sini, peserta akan sertai aktiviti untuk bangunkan tubuh dan jiwa \u2013 seperti latihan kemahiran kerja (pertanian, kerja bengkel, masakan dan lain-lain). Tempoh pemulihan sekurang-kurangnya 30 hari, bertujuan untuk siapkan mereka kembali ke kehidupan normal dengan kemahiran dan rasa tanggungjawab hidup bersama masyarakat.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Cik Areepak berkata:<\/p>\n
\u201cKita sedang bina insan, bukan sekadar suruh mereka berhenti ambil dadah.\u201d<\/p>\n
Tujuan program ini bukan hanya berhenti dadah, tetapi bangunkan insan yang ada arah hidup, ada kerja, dan mampu sumbang kepada komuniti. Peluang dan sokongan adalah kunci kepada penyelesaian masalah dadah secara berkekalan. Kita bukan tengok proses rawatan sahaja, tapi tengok juga bagaimana mereka boleh kembali jadi sebahagian dari keluarga dan masyarakat.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0On 23 September 2025, the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), led by Ms. Areepak Ngenbamrung, Deputy Secretary-General of ONCB, conducted a field visit to the Satruchon Center in Nong Chik District, Pattani Province to monitor the progress of a project aimed at rehabilitating former drug users and restoring their quality of life. The visit also aimed to provide encouragement and promote the concept of “transforming individuals” to reintegrate them into their families and communities with dignity.<\/p>\n

The project is organized by the Pattani Provincial Center for Drug Prevention and Suppression, with budgetary support from the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center (SBPAC) and collaboration from multiple sectors including public health, the military, police, and local administration.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0The Satruchon Center has been transformed into a Community Isolation (CI) facility for former drug users who are ready to begin a new chapter in life. The program, running from 1 to 30 September 2025, accepts 50 participants from across the 12 districts of Pattani Province.<\/p>\n
\n
At the center, participants engage in physical and mental development activities, including vocational training and skill development in areas such as agriculture, mechanics, and culinary arts. The rehabilitation program lasts a minimum of 30 days, with the goal of preparing participants to return to normal life. It also emphasizes instilling a sense of responsibility and social integration skills to ensure long-term reintegration into society.<\/p>\n
