Pada 21 September 2568 jam 4.00 petang, Duli Yang Maha Mulia Raja telah perkenan lantik Jeneral Chalermchai Sittisart, Ahli Majlis Diraja, sebagai Wakil Diraja untuk menyampaikan Piala Diraja kepada pasukan perahu yang menang dalam Pertandingan Perahu Kolek, Perahu Yawakong dan Perahu Gajasi sempena Pertandingan kali ke-47 yang berlangsung di Papan Pentas Diraja di tepi Sungai Bang Nara, Daerah Mueang Narathiwat, bersempena Pesta Produk Baik Narathiwat kali ke-48.<\/p>\n

Dalam majlis tu, ada 8 perahu hias bunga dari pelbagai jabatan yang dipersembahkan secara meriah dan penuh warna-warni \u2013 menunjukkan semangat dan usaha Tuanku Raja dalam memelihara dan meneruskan Projek DiRaja di wilayah Narathiwat.<\/p>\n

Tahun ni ada 3 kategori pertandingan perahu, dengan jumlah 58 pasukan:<\/p>\n

Pertandingan perahu ni mula dianjurkan di Narathiwat sejak tahun 2518 (1975). Tahun ni masuk kali ke-47, dianjurkan untuk kenang jasa dan kasih Tuanku Raja Bhumibol Adulyadej, dan juga sebagai tanda hormat serta penghargaan kepada Tuanku Ratu Sirikit, Tuanku Raja sekarang dan semua kerabat Diraja yang sering datang bersemayam di Istana Taksin Ratchaniwet setiap tahun, serta memberi banyak projek kebajikan bantu rakyat di Selatan.<\/p>\n

On 21 September 2025 at 4:00 PM, His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua graciously appointed General Chalermchai Sittisart, Privy Councillor, as His Majesty\u2019s representative to present the Royal Trophies to the winning teams of the Kolek Boats, Yaw Kong Boats, and Gajasi Boats in the 47th Royal Trophy Longboat Races, held at the Royal Pavilion Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of His Majesty\u2019s Accession to the Throne, along the Tha Phraya Sai embankment, Bang Nara River, Mueang District, Narathiwat Province. The event was part of the 48th \u201cBest of Narathiwat\u201d Fair.<\/p>\n

The ceremony featured a procession of eight elaborately decorated floral boats from various organizations, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship and symbolizing His Majesty\u2019s unwavering commitment to the continuation, preservation, and development of Royal-Initiated Projects in Narathiwat Province.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Royal Trophy Longboat Races included three categories, with a total of 58 participating teams:<\/p>\n

The Narathiwat Longboat Races were first organized in 1975 (B.E. 2518). This 47th edition was held to honor and remember the boundless benevolence of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great, and to pay tribute to the graciousness of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, His Majesty the King, and other members of the Royal Family, who have consistently visited and resided at Thaksin Ratchaniwet Palace in Narathiwat. Their numerous Royal-Initiated Projects have brought lasting peace and development to the people of the region. The people of Narathiwat remain deeply grateful for this royal kindness.<\/p>\n

Beyond being a sporting event, the longboat races serve to promote the traditional craftsmanship of Kolek boat building, a vital skill and livelihood for local fishermen. It also contributes to tourism promotion, cultural preservation, and the continuation of the local heritage and traditional values.<\/p>\n
