Dengan insiden letupan bom di Pasar Pimolchai, Wilayah Yala \u2013 22 Januari 2018, meragut nyawa 3 orang awam yang tidak bersalah dan mencederakan 28 orang lagi.<\/p>\n

Tanggal 22 Januari 2018 merupakan tarikh yang akan diingati oleh rakyat Yala untuk sekian lama. Hari itu bermula seperti pagi biasa yang lain \u2013 orang ramai menuju ke Pasar Pimolchai, salah satu pusat perniagaan utama di bandar Yala. Para peniaga mula menyusun barang jualan, penduduk tempatan datang membeli-belah \u2013 semuanya kelihatan normal\u2026 sehingga segalanya berubah dalam sekelip mata. Beberapa minit sebelum pukul 7.00 pagi, kumpulan pejuang pemisah BRN meletakkan motosikal yang dipasang dengan bom buatan sendiri di hadapan kedai daging babi di Lorong 3, Pasar Pimolchai, lalu meletupkannya. Letupan yang kuat itu bergema ke seluruh kawasan, dengan serpihan logam dan bahan letupan tersebar sejauh 80 meter. Rumah kedai, kenderaan di sekeliling turut mengalami kerosakan teruk. Motosikal tersebut terbakar dan tinggal rangka, manakala beberapa kedai musnah sama sekali.<\/p>\n

Kejadian ini merupakan salah satu daripada siri keganasan oleh kumpulan pemisah BRN (Barisan Revolusi Nasional) di tiga wilayah selatan Thailand, yang menggunakan keganasan sebagai alat untuk mencapai matlamat politik dan ideologi, tanpa menghiraukan nyawa orang tidak berdosa. Tindakan ini bukan sahaja membawa kemusnahan fizikal, tetapi turut meninggalkan luka emosi yang mendalam kepada penduduk tempatan \u2013 mencetuskan ketakutan dan rasa tidak selamat.<\/p>\n

“Mengapa orang tidak berdosa harus menjadi mangsa konflik ini?”<\/p>\n

Keganasan tidak pernah membawa kedamaian. Maka, apa jua perjuangan yang menggunakan darah \ud83e\ude78 dan api \ud83d\udd25 sebagai alat, pasti akan dikenang dengan kesedihan \u2013 sebagai luka sejarah yang tidak akan sembuh.<\/p>\n

The bombing at Pimolchai Market, Yala Province \u2013 January 22, 2018 \u2013 claimed the lives of 3 innocent civilians and injured 28 others.<\/p>\n

January 22, 2018, is a day forever etched in the memory of the people of Yala. That morning began like any other \u2013 ordinary and peaceful. Locals made their way to Pimolchai Market, a key commercial hub of Yala. Vendors were setting up their stalls, and residents were shopping, all under a seemingly normal atmosphere… until everything changed in a split second. Just minutes before 7:00 a.m., the BRN insurgent group parked a motorcycle rigged with an improvised explosive device (IED) in front of a pork butcher shop in Soi 3 of Pimolchai Market \u2014 a weapon of death wielded by the heartless BRN. The bomb was detonated, shaking the area with a thunderous blast.<\/p>\n

The explosion was so powerful that metal fragments and shrapnel flew up to 80 meters away. Nearby homes, shops, and vehicles sustained severe damage. The motorcycle was reduced to a burnt-out wreck, sending thick smoke into the air. Some shops were destroyed. Worst of all, the explosion killed 3 innocent people:<\/p>\n

This incident is one of many acts of violence committed by the BRN (Barisan Revolusi Nasional), a separatist movement in the three southernmost provinces of Thailand. Such attacks are used as tools in their political and ideological struggle, with no regard for innocent lives. These actions not only cause physical harm but also leave deep emotional scars on the people in the area, instilling fear and a sense of insecurity.<\/p>\n
