Tentera… tempat rakyat bergantung dalam setiap keadaan\u201d \u2013 ungkapan ini bukan sekadar slogan, tetapi mencerminkan tindakan sebenar para tentera yang sentiasa berdiri bersama rakyat dalam setiap langkah kehidupan. Pada 21 Mei 2025 yang lalu, Unit Khas Kompeni Infantri Ke-1 (IKK 1) telah menggerakkan anggota dari Kompeni Infantri 1 bersama-sama masyarakat Thai-Buddha di kawasan untuk turun padang membantu membaiki bumbung rumah kediaman bagi keluarga miskin di Kampung Kasot, Mukim Bannang Sata, Daerah Bannang Sata, Wilayah Yala.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Misi ini dijalankan setelah didapati bahawa beberapa rumah di kawasan tersebut mengalami kerosakan, khususnya pada bahagian bumbung yang sudah lama dan uzur, memberi kesan terhadap keselamatan dan kehidupan harian penduduk. Oleh itu, para tentera dari Unit Khas Kompeni Infantri Ke-1 tidak berlengah untuk turun tangan membaiki rumah berkenaan agar kembali kukuh, selamat dan selesa didiami. Bantuan ini bukan sahaja mengurangkan beban rakyat, tetapi juga mencerminkan komitmen Tentera Darat Thailand dalam menjadi \u201cpenghubung\u201d antara kerajaan dan rakyat, serta membina keyakinan dan rasa selamat dalam komuniti luar bandar.<\/p>\n

Dalam konteks wilayah sempadan selatan Thailand yang penuh dengan kepelbagaian budaya dan cabaran keselamatan, penglibatan positif daripada pihak kerajaan seperti ini turut membantu membina kefahaman serta hubungan yang baik antara tentera dan rakyat. Walaupun misi ini mungkin kelihatan kecil bagi sesetengah pihak, namun melihat anggota tentera bekerja keras menukar jubin bumbung, menggunakan alatan dengan tekun, serta ketawa bersama penduduk kampung, sudah cukup menggambarkan bahawa \u201ctugas\u201d seorang tentera bukan sekadar memegang senjata, tetapi juga mencipta \u201ckeselamatan hati\u201d untuk rakyat dalam setiap kesempatan.<\/p>\n

This statement is more than just a slogan\u2014it reflects the real actions of brave soldiers who stand shoulder to shoulder with the people every step of the way. Most recently, on May 21, 2025, the 1st Infantry Battalion Task Force (TF-IB 1) mobilized troops from Company 1, working alongside Thai-Buddhist community members, to repair the roof of a residence for a low-income family in Village 5, Kasot area, Bannang Sata Subdistrict, Bannang Sata District, Yala Province.<\/p>\n

This mission stemmed from deteriorating conditions of some homes in the area, especially their aging and damaged roofs, which directly impact the safety and well-being of the residents. Without hesitation, soldiers from Task Force Infantry Battalion 1 took action to help restore the house, making it safe, stable, and livable once again. This act of assistance not only alleviated the immediate hardship of the residents but also demonstrated the Army\u2019s commitment to being a \u201cbridge\u201d between the state and the people\u2014fostering trust and warmth in remote communities.<\/p>\n

In the context of Thailand\u2019s southern border provinces, where cultural diversity and security challenges coexist, constructive involvement by state personnel like this helps build understanding and strengthen relationships between the military and local communities. Although this may seem like a small mission to some, witnessing soldiers earnestly replacing roof tiles, handling tools with care, and sharing laughs with villagers clearly shows that the \u201cduty\u201d of a soldier goes beyond carrying weapons. It also includes fostering a sense of \u201cemotional security\u201d for the people at every opportunity.<\/p>\n
