Gambar risalah ini telah menimbulkan panik dan kebimbangan dalam kalangan rakyat, terutamanya di wilayah sempadan selatan Thailand. Markas Depan Keselamatan Dalam Negeri Wilayah 4 ingin menjelaskan bahawa gambar risalah ini adalah gambar lama yang pernah tersebar pada 14 Februari 2013, selepas kejadian kumpulan Maroso Jantarawadi, seorang militan, cuba menyerang pos operasi tentera laut di daerah Bacho, Wilayah Narathiwat tetapi diserang balas oleh pasukan keselamatan, menyebabkan 16 orang daripada kumpulan Maroso terbunuh pada 13 Februari 2013.<\/p>\n
Oleh itu, Markas Depan Keselamatan Dalam Negeri Wilayah 4 menyeru rakyat agar menggunakan pertimbangan yang bijak dalam menerima maklumat, terutamanya daripada media sosial. Elakkan daripada menyebarkan atau berkongsi maklumat yang belum disahkan oleh pihak berkuasa rasmi. Jangan menjadi alat kepada pihak yang tidak bertanggungjawab yang berniat mengganggu ketenteraman kawasan ini. Therefore, from today onwards, the lives and breaths of civilians, teachers, lecturers, and the Thai-Buddhist communities \u2014 wherever they are, whichever roads they travel, no matter their daily routines or the security around them \u2014 we will take their lives and reclaim every life we\u2019ve lost. The group attempted an attack on a Royal Thai Marine Corps base in Bacho District, Narathiwat Province, but were countered by authorities.
