Dalam kejadian itu, sekumpulan 4 orang penyerang menggunakan 2 motosikal sebagai kenderaan dan menembak beberapa das ke arah Encik Chanwit. Tembakan mengenai badan beliau sebanyak 3 kali dan menyebabkan beliau maut di tempat kejadian. Selepas itu, para penyerang meninggalkan risalah di lokasi kejadian sebelum melarikan diri. Selepas kejadian, pihak berkuasa mengawal kawasan dan menutup laluan, mengumpul bukti dan bahan-bahan untuk menyiasat sehingga membawa kepada penangkapan kumpulan penyerang dan tindakan undang-undang.<\/p>\n
